Work It Out

I've never been one to work out a lot. If you're a new reader to my blog, I spent most of my life training in classical ballet. I spent about 20 hours a week in the studio from seventh grade up until freshman year of college when I was a dance major. I realized it wasn't what I wanted my career to be about halfway through the year, and I got injured not too much later. My dancing then cut down to about 6 hours a week for the last two years, up until last spring when I completed my dance minor.
Since then, I haven't been doing much exercise but I've been trying to get back into just doing something the last few weeks. I've been going to yoga classes on campus and my bestie/roommate Hannah has always been obsessed with Tone It Up videos, so we have been doing some of them in our apartment. I really don't like the gym, so I just hope to keep up with this for a while.
But, what's a better way to motivate yourself to workout than new workout clothes?

1- Charles River Monogram Pullover from Marley Lilly (I have a beige one with my school logo embroidered on it, it's so nice and soft!)
2- Lilly Pulitzer Luxletic Top
3- Patagonia Re Tool Zip Up (I've had this for almost 4 years now, it's the best)
4- Athleta Colorburst Sonar Tight
5- Forever 21 Mesh Paneled Athletic Leggings (I have a similar pair to these and I love them for yoga!)
6- Old Navy Mesh Paneled Compression Leggings
7- Nike Free 5.0 in Light Aqua
8- New Balance 620 Sneaker
9- Nike Free 5.0 in Black and White Print (I have an older version of these I've had since high school)

  1. I love getting new work out clothes as motivation! I really need to add working out into my daily routine more often!

  2. I love workout clothes! Until college none of my yoga pants had been to yoga, but I really found that yoga was such a good anxiety relief mechanism for me!
