It's about that time again, here are some of the outfits I wore in the month of June but have not made it on the blog yet. I have been having a lot of fun styling summer pieces from past years with new ones lately. And in case you missed them, here are my everyday outfits for May and April!
I know, I am about 2 years too late to the Off the Shoulder trend. But, I thought I would finally give it a try with this summer dress. I have tried on multiple OTS tops, and I just never like how they look on me. But of course, I can't say no to stripes and I love how this dress looks with turquoise accessories. If you have followed my blog since the beginning, you know I have always been a fan of Groopdealz. They were my go-to place for statement necklaces a summers ago, and now I have started to try out some of their affordable options for trendy clothing, this dress was only $17! I will definitely bringing it with me for a beach trip to South Carolina in a few weeks!
Here is the June installment of Finds Under $50! I clearly have been drawn towards blues and neutrals lately. However, I think my favorite pieces I have picked for this month are both of the floral pieces, this jumpsuit and the one-piece swimsuit. I have been loving the trendy one-piece swimsuits. I haven't owned a one-piece since probably middle school, but I recently found a floral one from Kate Spade for a great deal at TJ Maxx! I'm sure I'll be posting about it here or on Instagram (follow along if you aren't already) soon enough. And in case you missed them, here are the May and April Finds Under $50 posts.
I think I have done a post for this Lilly Pulitzer holiday every year since I started my blog. This year, I thought I would do something a little different and just share of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer styles that are always available in different prints every year. I have plenty of other styles and other past posts to share, but I don't want to overwhelm you!
Lilly has been one of my favorite brands for about 7 years now. I obviously have always loved all of the bright colors and fun styles. But I just love how I can always depend on these styles to come back year after year. I also have some great memories while wearing Lilly pieces from graduations, to summer vacations, even to staring at my computer refreshing the screen every few seconds with my Mom shopping the infamous online sales! Anyway, on to my favorite styles...
My favorite work outfits typically involve dresses, especially if they are versatile and comfy like this one. I wore this whole look right from the office to taking photos a few weeks ago, and I think it would also be great to wear with flats and layer with a jacket. I am also debating getting this dress hemmed a little, it seemed just slightly too long when I was trying it on. But seeing the photos I like how the length looks, maybe the heels helped? I was shopping in-store and it was on major sale. However, if you are also short and are shopping online, there is a petite size available!
