A few weeks ago, my boyfriend thought it would be fun to go on a hike. There are a few places within an hour or so from our area, so we decided to go to Hanging Rock State Park, NC. 

The morning of the hike I went to put on my sneakers I used to wear in high school (since my other ones were still at school), and I could not find them anywhere. I guess we gave them to Goodwill or something and I forgot. So the only shoes that were even somewhat suitable I had were Hunter boots, so that happened. There were waterfalls there, so I guess they actually came in a handy!

We joked that the reason I wore rain boots was for puddles like these...
