Classic and Metallic for Christmas

It's almost Christmas! I'm so excited, I just really love Christmas traditions. I've been spending the week doing last minute shopping, wrapping presents, watching Christmas movies, and baking cookies. I planned on wearing this dress to the annual "reunion" some of my high school friends have every Christmas break since we started college. Since we are seniors and some of us have graduated already (like me), we decided to step it up for our last one and we all dressed up more than in past years, but I actually wore most of what I wore in this post from last week instead. So I think this will be my look for Christmas mass!

For Christmas Eve my brother and I deliver cookies to our neighbors and we always have a nice dinner made by my parents. My brother and I also only open the presents from each other after dinner. We have been going to Christmas Eve mass over the last few years, which we are continuing this year. Then on Christmas morning we still wake up pretty early even though my brother is in college now (he used to wake us up around 5am!), for presents and breakfast. If the weather is nice we go on a family walk around the neighborhood with the dogs, and have another nice dinner at home. It's my favorite time of year and I'm always so sad as all of the decorations get put away and I have to realize that winter has actually started. However, this year I don't think that will be much of a problem because I'm not going back up to Erie, PA with all of the lake effect snow, and it has been so nice out in NC!

  1. I love this skirt! So pretty! It definitely has been getting a little chilly here in NC! It's suppose to be in the 70s for Christmas though!
