Valentine's Day Decor

I've mentioned this on social already, but I got a new camera! I upgraded the Canon Rebel I had since 2009 (that hasn't been working well over the last year or so) with the Canon M50 Mark II. I have been testing it out for about 2 weeks now and have been loving it so far! But on to the Valentine's Day decor...I was very sad to take down the Christmas decorations. So I jumped at the chance to put a bunch of pink throughout the house. I found the pom pom heart for the console table mirror from HomeGoods, and the pink glass bottle is from an antique store.

I made these paper heart garlands by following this tutorial, and the pink ribbon (which I used throughout a few rooms) is from Michael's.

We have been using this wreath since Christmas but I was very excited to have found it at Target. However, as the product reviews and several of my lovely Instagram followers have told me, it is should only be used indoors. It will drip green dye if it gets exposed to any condensation.

The pink tea kettle is used almost daily, but I just picked up the heart dish towels from HomeGoods. I really liked the blue background and thought they went great with my Lenox Spice Village.

On to the most elaborate part of the decorating, the fireplace! We recently got electric logs and have been really enjoying them. I kept some of the ribbons I had tied around some of the existing pieces for Christmas, and added pink ribbons to others. I made the pearl and heart garland by following this tutorial, but went my own with it.

I found the little mercury glass heart at Target, my mom made the faux peony arrangement years ago for my Charlotte apartment, and the pink Wedgwood dish and candlesticks are antique finds.

The rosette ball was sort of a pivoted DIY project. I had ordered these little flowers and foam balls thinking they would go on the blue and white candlesticks that I have on the console table. But the little roses didn't go nearly as far as expected, so they ended up in this Wedgwood piece instead. Which is one of my top estate sale finds, I got it for $30. Whenever I see them in stores, they are listed for closer to $100! I got this rosemary plant before Christmas and lights on it before. And after struggling to find the right size planter for it, I  found this white hobnail one from Wayfair.

We are still in the process of decorating our faux built-ins (more on that to come!) but I have this mini boxwood wreaths over the glass doors held by a pink ribbon I found at Hobby Lobby.

Tuckernuck Sale Picks Under $50

Long time, no post... but have you shopped the Tuckernuck Sample Sale yet?! It is live through tomorrow and has some great finds! I typically scroll through these sales, but haven't picked anything up from them before. But I actually would have bought more if a few more things were available in my size! I live in stripe tees, so I was very excited to find this green stripe top  for under $30. Along with an identical pair of sunglasses to one I lost over the summer for $15, and this olive silk scarf for $9! There are also some great coats and shoes if you are able to find your size. I've highlighted some more of my picks, which are all under $50 each. Happy shopping!
