I have quite the collection of printed and striped t-shirt dresses, so now I have a solid one too! I know I have mentioned this before, but my go-to comfortable outfit would always be one of these dresses over a t-shirt and athletic shorts. Like most of my Lilly Pulitzer items, I also got a great deal on this dress during the last After Party Sale! I love wearing a dress like this one for just about everything in the spring/summer, from going shopping, to brunch, or just hanging around a coffeeshop. These comfy dresses are also perfect for travel, they don't wrinkle much, and this solid navy is so versatile!

Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn Brands Picks

Toile wallpaper | Pineapple lamp | Tassel beach towel | Gold wall art set | Coral print pillow | Flamingo print pillow | Printed bedding set | Printed chair

You may have heard that Lilly Pulitzer has recently released a collaboration with Pottery Barn, PB Teen, and Pottery Barn Kids! I really wish this collection came out right before I decorated my apartment. A lot of the collection is larger items, so there is not much I can incorporate into my little place. But I plan on getting a beach towel (or two)! I really love the printed wallpaper options, how cute is this blue toile? Lilly Pulitzer has also come out with a pop-up print to celebrate the collaboration in classic styles like the Elsa Top and Sophie Dress! Is there anything you have your eye on from this collection?

5 Spring Wardrobe Staples

I tend to live by a "if it fits, buy it in every color" motto when it comes to my clothes. If I find something I really like, I buy it in a lot of similar styles in different colors or multiple prints. So I thought I would break down my top 5 favorite styles for spring!

Shift dresses
I can't resist a good shift dress! I wear them layered with shirts for work, or on their own for dinner, brunch, church, and many other occasions! I have this solid seersucker one, and this printed one in several different prints. I like dressing them up with wedges or heels and some statement accessories, or dressing them down with flat sandals and simpler accessories.

White jeans
I feel like this is kind of self explanatory, white jeans go with everything. And I think it is nice to have a few different pairs, maybe one with a raw hem like this pair, one with a high waist fit like this pair. My favorite way to wear them in the spring is with a peplum top or some other statement like bell sleeves!

T-shirt dresses
I think the easiest outfit to put together is a t-shirt dress and sandals. I have a few more of these dresses than I would probably like to admit, but they're so cute and comfy! I also typically buy them with long sleeves. In general, no matter if it s a top, dress, or romper I tend to wear either long sleeves or sleeveless.

Who doesn't love a fun romper in the spring and summer? I really like wearing sleeved rompers to go out at night, and sleeveless ones for brunch or a brewery during the day. I tend to go for more casual looking ones like this one. As pretty as dressier ones like this one are, I don't find that I can wear them very often.

Shirt dresses
Shirt dresses are a work favorite of mine, I've racked up quite a few of them over the last year or so. I usually look for ones with more flared skirts like this one and this one. I don't really know why, but I think they are so fun to wear! If you are near my height (5'2") I find these in kid's sizes in the Ralph Lauren section of department stores. But there are also some other great options out there in adult sizes like this one and this one!

Easter Dresses Under $100

Easter is just around the corner, and I always look forward to dressing up for Easter mass. I typically wear a dress to church on a regular Sunday once the weather warms up. But with the way the weather has been lately, Easter may be the first Sunday this year I'll be going for a spring dress. Maybe my dress this year will be one of these dresses I have picked here, as you may have guessed from the title, they are all under $100! I am really loving this white floral with navy trim, and this gingham (big surprise there...) bow back dress. I also have the Lauren James pink seersucker dress that is very similar to this one, so that's always an option too!

Black Scallop Skirt

My favorite work skirt (that I already have in several colors) is now available with a scallop hem! My favorite work pants are as well, but they unfortunately do not come in petite sizes, and were a little long on me. I have the regular hem version of this skirt in black wool (that I featured in my Winter Workwear Capsule Wardrobe), but this one is a linen-blend material, perfect for work in the warmer months. These heels are also a work favorite of mine, they don't even really feel like heels. Even on days where I walk around a lot during work, I think they are the perfect height!

Luxletic Leggings

I know I've posted a few pairs of workout leggings lately, but these are easily the best recent addition to my closet. The print is so much fun, I found them for a great deal during the last After Party Sale, and like my other pair of Lilly leggings, are some of the most comfortable I've ever owned! They seem to be made for more athleisure than active, because they have a phone pocket on the side. But that hasn't stopped me from wearing them to barre and yoga recently! Did you catch my Fitness Friday post last week? I am doing a new post series where I outline my workouts, new foods and recipes I have been trying, and some cute activewear picks!

Winter Workwear Capsule Wardrobe: Wrap Up

I think I was just trying to see how many "W"s I could fit into one line with this post title...

In case you missed it, I am sharing a Winter Workwear Capsule Wardrobe for the month of February! I styled 20 outfits for the 20 work days in February, from just 20 pieces. In this post, I have the last 2 outfits to finish out the series. I'm also going to break down how I wore each piece in different ways.

Here is how I styled some of the 20 pieces for the last 2 work days in February:

Tuesday, February 27th

Wednesday, February 28th
Sweater | Skirt | Flats

If you missed the individual posts: here is Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, and Week 4.

I planned this whole challenge based on the skirts/pants. Once I planned combinations of tops with them, it was pretty much all planned out! So I thought I would show the versatility of the 5 skirts/pants I chose for the capsule. I also have other versions of similar items of each item: like a black ruffle skirt, a simpler navy skirt, another pair of navy and black pants. So during a typical month, I usually wear the other pieces mixed in with these outlined here.

I really liked the challenge of mixing up my own closet, and I think I found some pairings I never would have thought of before!
So...would you want to see a Summer Workwear Capsule Wardrobe series in the future?
