Seersucker Dress

As much as I love bright colors and trying new trends, it's no secret that I love classic preppy pieces. So I naturally love anything in seersucker! I knew this dress from Light In the Box would become a new summer favorite of mine. I can dress it up like I am in these photos with pearls and wedges, or I could dress it down a little with flat sandals and wearing it as a skirt with a chambray shirt over it!

Styling White Jeans with Sarah of Stylish Sassy and Classy Blog

White jeans are definitely a spring and summer staple for me. Since I'm working in 2 offices with a somewhat casual dress code I've been wearing them to work quite a bit. Today I'm styling them with Sarah of Stylish Sassy and Classy Blog! Sarah and I had followed each other's blogs and social media for a while, and I met her while shopping at my local Belk a few months ago, she works there in the Lilly department. Since I've been home for the summer we have been hanging out and taking each other's outfit photos! We met up for lunch both wearing white jeans, so we thought we would make a collab out of it. Ice Cream Fundae

So this dress is definitely on my list of summer favorites. I just love the ice cream print, the dark blue color, the full skirt and the fact that it has pockets! It's actually also sort of 3D because it has another layer, it's kind of hard to tell from these photos though. (Side note: for fellow small chested girls, it's quite loose on top. I have mine pinned a little bit on the sides.) Anyway these photos were fun to shoot, and I have a few out takes from this post and several others coming to a bloopers post soon!

First Impressions

I've always really loved the Lilly Pulitzer print "First Impressions" it was first done in pink back in 2011, when I first really started liking the brand. I was so excited when they redid it in yellow and blue this past spring! Today is not only Father's Day, and the first day of summer, it's also National Wear Your Lilly Day! So I have to wear my newest dress, which is easily my favorite of my shift dresses!
I really loved this fit and flare dress in the same print, I tried it on when I was home for spring break (there aren't any Lilly retailers near my school in PA), but they seemed to all be sold out when I came back for the summer. I was super excited when I saw this shift on sale though. It's a lot more versatile, and much nicer for my college student budget! I've already worn it for shopping in NYC, and for exploring some gardens with my boyfriend a few weekends ago. 
P.S. please excuse the wrinkles, I promise I ironed the dress that morning, it just got that way from sitting in the car
