The January edition of the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale (formerly the New Year Cheer sale) started yesterday! It goes through tonight, and although a lot sold out within the first few hours yesterday there is still a good amount of stuff left and they have Facebook flash sales going on as well. And for what I think was the first time for these sales, everything is under $100!
The sale always starts at 8:00am, and last year I had class from 8:00-11:00 and I did not end up getting anything from that sale, but I did well during the summer one. This year all I ended up getting was the Carol Shift Dress in the print Hot Spot. I usually end up with more deals but I've had my eye on this dress since it came out hoping to get it at my local store on sale, but they didn't have it available in my size, so this was enough for me!
Overall, I was sort of disappointed with this sale though. How did everyone else do? From scanning through social media it seemed it most people were not very satisfied with it. It wasn't a bad sale, they have just had much better in the past! The first January sale I remember buying anything from, lots of items were priced as low as $12! And I feel like I got several clothing items for closer to $20-$40 each. This sale is not really the case, although nothing went over $100, it seemed like a majority of the clothing items were very close it ranging from $60-$99. Which usually is very good for Lilly considering the original prices, but as a college student who only works in the summer, still a bit too high for now!
Dressing and decorating classic style in North Carolina, working in e-commerce, obsessed with fitness classes, spends too much in antique stores.
