As I mentioned in last Monday's post, I have been working for a full year. So I thought I would share some of my favorite pieces I have been wearing to work over the last year. I probably wear at least one of these pieces every few days during the week!
J. Crew Factory "Winnie" pants
I bought these when the J. Crew retail store made them as "Minnie" pants, but I have both black and navy pairs. They are pretty comfortable, and go with just about any top and shoe combination. I also like to wear the black pair with over-the-knee boots and sweaters in the winter.

J. Crew Factory "Sidewalk" skirt
I have this skirt in navy linen, black wool, a holiday plaid, and a very similar style in black and white gingham, and white with a scallop hem. I just love the cut, and I think it goes with just about any work-appropriate top from statement sleeves to cable knit sweaters.

Lilly Pulitzer "Elsa" top
I have this top in this solid pink color and 2 different prints, they are always made in so many fun prints every season. I think of this as more of a statement top, but they are great to pair with a more simple skirt or pants.

Ralph Lauren button down shirts
I have collected quite a few of these shirts from high school, and most of them are still around! They are always a classic, endless styling pairings, and appropriate for any office.

Sam Edelman "Hazel" and "Tristan" pumps
These two styles of pumps are so versatile, very durable, and the style in the lower height are quite comfortable. I have the old version of the Hazel in black suede, the current version in nude leather, and the old version of the Tristan in gray suede. And my favorite thing about them might be the fact that they are available in a size 5.5!

J. Crew "Gemma" flats
If I ever feel like I need a break from heels, I reach for these flats. I have pairs in both the red leather and gold patent leather, and they are great to wear all day long. For sizing, I think they run a little small. Because I wear a 5.5 and I have only seen these in size 6 (in store and on sale), which is the size I have in both pairs. And they fit if I wear insoles with them.
