Luxletic

Lilly Pulitzer Luxletic Workout Tank (old print via Marshall's) | Forever 21 Mesh Workout Leggings | Similar Nike Frees (mine are old, and from the kid's section...) | Stella and Dot Initial Bar Necklace c/o

To be totally honest, I don't work out very often. I trained as a classical ballet dancer until junior year of college, and spent about 20 hours a week in the dance studio. It's been about a full year since I've been in real dancing shape. I took some yoga classes every week last fall on campus, but since I graduated in December, I just haven't done much besides taking my dog on walks. I really need to get back into ballet, or try Pure Barre, or go back to yoga, or just something. I just really don't like the gym, and it's weird to get back into a dance studio with such a different mindset. Dancing such a serious discipline "just for fun" is just kind of weird when it used to be the thing I wanted my (short-term) career to be. I have recently started to realize how much muscle I have lost though, and I should probably do something about getting a little of it back! I'm not sure why I'm writing a whole post about this, but maybe getting it out there online will hold me to getting back into exercising.

On to the outfit, I found this Lilly Pulitzer Luxletic tank for $25,which is a really great deal, at Marshall's awhile ago. I thought it would motivate me, but as I stated above, it clearly hasn't yet. Also these leggings are from the activewear section of Forever 21. I'm not the biggest F21 fan for regular clothes. But, since I don't use my workout clothes as often as I should (I don't like wearing them if I'm not working out) I would rather not spend a lot on them. And they have quite a few Lulu Lemon looking styles for about $15-20! I have these and another pair I wore to yoga a lot last fall.

P.S. I took these photos quite awhile ago and somehow this post got lost in my drafts. I meant to post it in April, but here it is!
And, I don't really wear bright lipstick to do any kind of exercise, I just forgot it was still on after a shooting an outfit post right before this one!

Thanks for reading!
